If you follow me on facebook then you might have seen me talking about booking plane tickets for our upcoming Disneyland trip! I am super excited because Halloween Time will be in full swing when we go for Fall Break!
Christmas and Halloween are our favorite times to visit the Disneyland Resort.
And happily we can visit the Haunted Mansion Holiday during both seasons since it’s a mixture of Halloween and Christmas! We aren’t the biggest fan of the movie, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” but we love it as a special holiday theme for the Haunted Mansion.
In fact the Haunted Mansion was Quinn’s first ride at Disneyland.
He was 1.
You guys knew that I was that
crazy awesome, right?!?
Don’t worry he liked it.
Now fast forward a year or two and he wasn’t thrilled with it.
Here is a picture I dug up from that 1st trip, one of my best friends (Hi Annalee!!) drove up from San Diego to hang out with us.
Part of the reason we love visiting Disneyland is that they do an awesome job of decorating, and immersing you within the Disney magic. And Halloween is no exception! There are Fall, Halloween and even Dia De Los Muertos references throughout the park.
And of course there are always special Halloween treats to enjoy! We budget for treats every day of our trip…
I have yet to experience Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. With two little guys our roller coaster adventures have been limited in recent years but I definitely plan on making Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy a priority this trip!
This year will also be our first time experiencing Mickey’s Halloween Party. I think my boys are the perfect age for it.
Mickey’s Halloween Party invites adults and children to dress up in costume and trick-or-treat at Disneyland.. These revelers can also arrive before the party to “mix in” with regular Disneyland guests for three hours prior to the start of Mickey’s private bash
If you have never heard of Mickey’s Halloween Party, don’t fret! I definitely plan on sharing more details soon!
Have you ever gone to Mickey’s Halloween Party? I would love to hear you thoughts on it!
All information and pictures are compliments of Disneyland News, except of course the cute one with baby Quinn and of course my opinions are my own.
