I am thankful for these smiles. Their health and happiness is the most important thing in the world and when they smile, I know they have both.
I’m SMILING IT FORWARD™ because I have 2 happy and healthy kids. When they aren’t feeling well, I wait for those bright smiles to return. I know once I see it, they’re on the mend and I can breathe a sigh of relief.
And I’m not alone. A recent survey conducted on behalf of the makers of TYLENOL® discovered that 89% of moms with young children agree that there is nothing better than their child’s smile to let them know they are feeling better after a fever, cold or flu. TYLENOL® is a household staple that we keep on hand in our house, it helps all THREE of my boys feel better. It helps bring their smiles back.
Unfortunately not all kids are as healthy as mine, and not all kids have access to regular medical treatment like we do. I am always thankful for our pediatricians and even the walk-in health clinics near us. We live very close to both and with health insurance have the means to get medical attention whenever necessary. I know there are many families in the United States that are not as lucky.
Thankfully, Children’s Health Fund has been providing healthcare services to an underserved children throughout the U.S. for 25 years. Cofounders, Paul Simon (singer-songwriter) and Dr. Irwin Redlener realized that there are many barriers that keep disadvantaged kids from medical facilities, so they pioneered the first mobile clinics. Children’s Health Fund brings health care to sick children in both rural and disadvantaged urban areas nationwide with their fleet of 50 medical mobile clinics.
You can help Children’s Health Fund by simply sharing a smile.
