This post is part of a campaign sponsored by the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Do you have plans lined up for New Year’s Eve yet? We usually stay close to home but having spent time in Scottsdale this past year, I know a Scottsdale staycation would be fun. There are plenty of fun ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Scottsdale.
Hyatt Regency Scottsdale
Enjoy live entertainment from 6:30 until 12:30am with a midnight balloon drop and party favors at the Center Stage Bar. Both Alto ristorante e bar and SWB, a southwest bistro will be serving special 4-course New Year’s Eve menus. Venetian gondola rides will be available for $10, or complimentary for guests dining in Alto ristorante e bar. New Year’s Eve accommodation packages include champagne and a late check out!
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort in August and the gondolas were closed, hopefully we can check them out the next time we stay. By the way the pool area includes a 3-story water slide and beach area that my boys LOVED. With high temperatures hitting the 70’s and pools heated to 82 degrees, I know many people will be “swimming” into the new year!
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
The New Year’s Eve festivities includes the “Parade of Harlequins” at the Plaza Bar with a DJ, dancing, and speciality cocktails. Plus jesters, Venetian street performers and a NYE countdown with party favors. Admission is $25 or complimentary for resort guests and patrons dining at Bourbon Steak or La Hacienda. All resort restaurants will feature special New Year’s Eve Dinner Menus from 5:30 to 10pm
I haven’t stayed at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess since I was a kid but it’s on my must do list for Scottsdale. During the holidays the Princess features an ice skating rink, a musical Christmas tree, an animated light show and over a million twinkling holiday lights. Great news for New Year’s Eve guests, all the holiday fun will still be available!
Westin Kierland Resort
deseo will be offering two special New Year in Nuevo Latino style dining experiences. The later seating includes party favors and champagne toast. Peter and I enjoyed a special meal at deseo on a previous trip and I HIGHLY recommend it. I think a New Year’s Eve dinner at deseo would be awesome!
The Westin Kierland Resort has your kids covered with special New Year’s Eve fun for kids (4-12) from 7pm-1am. And they are offering a special Fiesta Bowl package that includes tickets to the game on January 1st.
