The RideSafer Travel Vest was a life saver on our midwest adventure this summer. We flew into Chicago and enjoyed several days in the city but also rented a car and drove to a family reunion at an Indiana lake resort. We don’t fly a lot with the boys but when we do we usually stay in one place and avoid bringing car seats.
With a road trip to Indiana, we couldn’t avoid using car seats this summer. I like to minimize packing (as much as possible) and I dreaded the idea of bringing huge seats with us. Quinn is big enough now for a backless booster so that helped but Elliot isn’t big enough for one yet. Enter the RideSafer Travel Vest which works for kids as young as 3 years old! Yay!!
You can read our Ride Safer Travel Vest review at TravelingMom.com but suffice to say, it is an awesome product. It’s light weight, easy to use and makes traveling with little kids much easier! Plus we continue to use it now at home when Elliot rides in other people’s cars, there’s no need to transfer his big Britax car seat from one car to another!
Check out the Safe Ride 4 Kids website for more information on the different Ride Safer Travel Vests available. Right now they have a two limited edition colors: green and yellow, in addition to their regular blue and pink vests. I love the green and would have picked it if it was available a few months ago!
I was provided with a Ride Safer Travel vest for review purposes.
