Quinn and Elliot are big Transformers fans. We’ve been fans of the Transformers Rescue Bots for quite a while, they are perfect for the preschool set. The “transforming” is not complicated making it them great toys for little kids. Even though Quinn still enjoys the rescue bots, he has starting showing interest in the “big kid” Transformers too. So it was perfect timing for us to review the new Transformers Construct-Bots.
Transformers Construct-Bots are ones you build and are recommended for kids ages 6 and up. We were sent two different transformers, so each boy claimed one but that meant Peter basically built Elliot’s transformer for him. It’s definitely too complicated for a 3-year-old. Even Quinn needed a little help but the directions were clear and I would be comfortable buying another for him.
Once constructed, no more daddy help was needed and the boys have been playing with them ever since. They are definitely a hit! The cool thing about the Transformers Construct-Bots is that they can transform or be rebuilt in vehicle form. My only concern would be loosing any pieces because there are no spare parts. So far we haven’t had that problem but it’s a possibility, especially given the current state of their toy room. 😉
As you can see they fit in well with our festive friends. 😉
