This is a sponsored post written by me as part of campaign for SheSpeaks and Febreze. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
The smell of coffee brewing reminds me of my grandparent’s house. They ALWAYS had a pot on or warming back up. The smell of Dove soap reminds me of my other grandma’s house. Random, huh? Both smells remind me of my childhood and visiting with my grandparents. I love how scents can spark a memory. One of my favorite places for scents is Disneyland, they have making things smell good down to a science, especially during the holiday season!
One of my favorite times of the year for yummy scents is holidays. I love the smell of fresh Christmas trees, cookies baking and fresh snow. Obviously the fresh “snow” part is harder to capture in Tucson. But the fresh, crisp scent of snow reminds me of the smell of the desert after a monsoon – except cold. 😉 When picking scents I gravitate towards fresh fruit smells so cranberry and pomegranate are perfect for the holidays. Plus my grandma makes homemade pomegranate jelly every year.
Febreze Holiday Scents
We don’t usually have a fresh Christmas tree nor snow on the ground outside. So I rely on Febreze to help make my home smell festive during the holidays. Febreze offers three special holiday edition scents that are right up my alley cranberry cider, winter frost and glistening pine. I just opened up a cranberry cider Set & Refresh and it’s lovely! I am a big fan of Febreze Set & Refresh because I can use them anywhere and no plug is required.
