I am proud to partner with JOHNSON’S® Baby to share their #PromiseToBaby
Over the years, JOHNSON’S® Baby has improved their formulas to reflect the latest science and safety regulations. I’m happy to share they also heed the concerns of parents as well. Recently, they changed their product formulas just to alleviate the worry of some moms. Their commitment to safety and peace of mind makes them awesome in my book.
The seven new reformulated products include JOHNSON’S® Baby HEAD-TO-TOE® Wash, JOHNSON’S® Baby Lotion, JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo, JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo & Conditioner for Thick and Curly Hair, JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo & Conditioner for Thin and Straight Hair, JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo with Calming Lavender, JOHNSON’S® Baby Soothing Vapor Baby Bath.
From JOHNSON’S® Baby
As the new products hit shelves, we are launching a heartfelt campaign called “Your Promise is Our Promise” as a way to express our ongoing commitment to moms. Just as moms make promises to their children, JOHNSON’S® Baby also makes promises so moms don’t have to worry about the products they use on their little ones.
To share this commitment, we’ve created an inspiring story through the “Our Promise” video, which can be viewed on YouTube, as an open letter to moms showing our scientists and their families coming together to build an origami stork mobile, symbolizing the delivery of our promise to always listen to moms.
This video concept was inspired by a Japanese legend that folding 1,000 origami cranes will result in a wish granted and a promise fulfilled, which is thought to be a big labor of love. Changing our products was our labor of love for moms and babies, but we used storks in our video because they represent the delivery of babies, and the hopes and promises of families.
I really love this video, it reminds us that people run companies, people who are also parents and they do care. It’s also a good reminder to think about all the promises, hopes and wishes you have for your own kids. Personally I want to keep them safe; to help them grow strong; to encourage them explore; to always learn; to always help others; to (a million other things).
What promises have you made your kids?
JOHNSON’S® Baby has met their 2013 Safety and Care Commitment to remove formaldehyde-releasing preservatives and reduce traces of 1,4 dioxane from all of our baby products, everywhere around the world. For most of their new and improved baby products, they have removed parabens – ahead of our 2015 commitment as part of their promise. The new and improved products will continue to roll out onto retail shelves until all commitments are met. I will happily continue to buy JOHNSON’S® Baby products for my friends and family as they continue to welcome little ones. I wish all companies were as committed to my child’s safety and my own peace of mind.
