Who else has been waiting MONTHS to watch The Jungle Book at home??! Q and I LOVED seeing it in theaters and we couldn’t wait to show it to daddy and E. Disney kindly sent us an early copy and we had a fun movie watching party last weekend. Everyone loved it, including papa and great grandma!
If you plan on hosting your Jungle Book movie watching party, check out this sweet and simple Jungle Book Red Flower Fruit Tray. It goes quite well with a big bowl of popcorn. The healthy fruit cancels out the buttery popcorn, right?! 😉
Jungle Book Red Flower Fruit Tray
Simply purchase several different varieties of red fruit: grapes, strawberries, watermelon, and raspberries are perfect. Wash and dice the fruit before arranging them in a flower shape to mimic the red flower “fire” imagery used in The Jungle Book.

Disney’s Jungle Book
Everyone will appreciate the AMAZING imagery in the Jungle Book. It’s hard to believe that it’s mostly animated and filmed on a sound stage in Los Angeles. Originally I was concerned about my youngest (he’s 6) watching The Jungle Book because the animals are pretty realistic and not all of them are nice. I’m happy to report he was fine watching it at home. He still wanted me to sit next to him when we met King Louie but overall he did great.
Directed by Jon Favreau (“Iron Man,” “Iron Man 2,” “Chef”) and produced by Favreau and Brigham Taylor (executive producer of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” “Tomorrowland”), “The Jungle Book” is a live-action epic adventure based on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless stories, inspired by Disney’s classic 1967 animated film and centered on Mowgli (Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat.
