We headed to Target to pick up a few things and decided that scouting Target seemed like a reasonable way to beat the heat AND get out of the house!
This is what we saw!
- School Supplies are here! The summer grill/patio section was being consolidated and several Target employees were busy unpacking notebooks and backpacks!
- We saw an endcap full of little girls soccer cleats at 70% off. Too bad I couldn’t convince Q to wear pink and black shoes!
- And speaking of shoes, there was a 1/2 aisle of boys shoes on clearance.
- And 1/2 aisle of girls shoes on clearance!! Perfect for back to school shopping!
I need to double check Quinn’s closet to see what shoe sizes we need, I like to be prepared with at least one pair of shoes in upcoming sizes!
I did need shampoo for the boys and with no sale or coupon, the best deal was Target’s Up&Up brand for $1.52. And I happened to notice the J&J travel shampoo was also $1.52…hmmm
I ended up with a few deals.
I picked up the drawing boards on clearance for $2.08 each. Perfect for our road trip next week!
The Hungry Jack pancake mix and syrup is a pretty great deal. Only $1.12 each after the $2/2 IP. Cheaper than a box of eggos and I can make and freeze a lot more!
The ice pack was 30% off at $2.08. We needed a spare because somehow I forget to stick Q’s ice pack in the freezer at night at least once a week. I’m hoping rotating them will help?
The super dad golfing award was 50% and a fun find to save for next year. We will just modify it to include “Papa” on it somehow!
Elliot’s favorite purchase?
Hook’s Battle Boat! Unfortunately it wasn’t on sale but the endcap of Jake and the Neverland Pirates toys is pretty empty and I am not sure if they are restocking it!
And speaking of toys. These were my favorite purchase. $10 each.
I immediately came home and stuffed them full of toys that need to disappear for while.
