It’s hard to resist a fun kids movie when animals are involved. The Wild Life is no exception so when Lionsgate sent us a copy to review, my boys were thrilled. They had wanted to see it in the theaters but somehow we missed it.
Embark on a tropical misadventure with a group of quirky animals and their human castaway, Robinson Crusoe. When savage cats invade their paradise, Robinson and the island’s animals team up to defend themselves and their home in this fun-filled movie.
The boys enjoyed all the action sequences the best. The mean cats also made excellent villains to dislike. 😉 Ya know because cats are evil! Did you know I’m a dog person? 🙂
I love that The Wild Life crew includes Pango, the pangolin. I learned all about pangolins on my Jungle Book press trip earlier this year, a pangolin was included in that movie as well. They are super endangered animals that could use additional exposure. Hopefully, as people learn about them, more people will support their protection.
The Wild Life is available on Digital HD starting this Tuesday (11/22) and on Blue-ray and DVD on Tuesday, November 29th. The Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD special features include: “A Wild World: Making The Wild Life” Featurette, “Meet the Characters” Featurette, “Tips for Your Trip” Featurette, and The Wild Life Musical Adventure.
