EASY DIY SNOW WHITE PRINCE COSTUME

This Snow White Prince Costume is much easier to make than my other prince costumes!

After the success of our DIY Prince Charming costume last year, I was itching to try another royal creation.

This is another costume that utilized a lot of material/pieces we already had on hand. In fact, just like our Jake & the Neverland Pirate costumes, I upcycled a blue Amazon gift bag for part of this costume.

With a base of blue pants, a white shirt, a brown belt and boots, there are only 2 key pieces you need to make: the red cloak and blue tunic with gold trim.

Make sure you fold your fabric in half, so you only have to cut out the shape once. After having him try it on, I trimmed it to the right length.

I finished the edges of the tunic with gold duct tape. I tried to keep the width of the trim consistent as I went along the edge.

Snow White’s prince wears a red cloak, not a cape. A cloak is a much fuller garment. My satiny no-sew superhero cape wouldn’t really look right so I hunted around online for another idea.
