How I survive traveling with motion sickness

I love to travel. I love to visit new cities, experience new food and adventures. I love to repeatedly visit our favorite places, Disneyland anyone? 😉  Like many people, I wish I could travel more if money or time were no object. What I don’t love about traveling is getting there. I’ve been plagued by motion sickness since I was a child. Flying in an airplane or riding in a car for any length of time is likely to make me nauseous.

I learned early on that if I sleep while traveling, I can get trick my head and avoid nausea. Sometimes sleep makes sense if I’m tired or traveling late in the evening. But for most day trips, it kills me that I can’t try to be productive. I want to read a book, watch a movie or work on my laptop but all of those things will trigger my motion sickness. It seems like such a waste of time to just sit on a plane and do nothing.

Pack Dramamine Naturals

Now some people may say to just give it up and relax during the journey and just manage the motion sickness. As a mom, I no longer have that luxury. With 2 little kids in tow, they always need help with something. Digging into bags to get toys or snacks, helping them to the bathroom, twisting around in my seat to fix their tech, all things that will inevitably trigger my motion sickness. Basically, if I want to do anything while on a plane or on a road trip, I have to plan ahead and take medicine. I’ve always been successful with Dramamine®.

Now the problem with Dramamine® is it can make your drowsy. Of course, drowsy is better than nauseous in my opinion. The good news is that they’ve come up with a non-drowsy solution using the power of ginger! Dramamine® Non-Drowsy Naturals contains the clinically-tested ginger dosage required to work. It helps prevent and relieve both nausea and vomiting. You can feel comfortable taking it every day you travel because it’s made of natural ginger. Try it for yourself and save a little money by grabbing a coupon first.

Dramamine is our go-to!! My husband suffers from AWFUL motion sickness, and dramamine has always been able to knock it out. We recently gave this natural version a try, and were a little worried it may not help, but it was so wonderful!! Thanks so much for sharing <3
