I’m sure you’ve seen the super cute candy corn cookies floating around on Pinterest.  I came across these s’mores flavored candy corn recently and thought they would make an interesting version of the Thanksgiving turkey cookies.

Ever since we stayed at the Westin Kierland and experienced their peanut butter cup Kierland Kampfire S’mores, I’ve wanted to find a way to recreate the flavors at home (besides simply making a s’more). These festive turkey cookies were a super fun way to capture that one of a kind flavor!

Thanksgiving Cookies

After allowing the cookies to cool, carefully pipe on turkey legs and a nose using chocolate icing. I found it easier to decorate the turkey from the bottom up. Then use chocolate frosting to “glue” the Reese’s Pieces candies on for eyes. Pipe more frosting along the top edge of the cookie to “glue” the feathers (s’more candy corns) on. Let the frosting harden a few minutes before moving them.

Now enjoy a yummy peanut butter s’more Thanksgiving turkey cookie!

Those are cool! I’ve never seen that kind of candy corn around here though. I wonder if I could find them.
