Ever wanted to check out a Disney Park before it opens to the public? To see the last-minute work cast members do each day to prep the park? Or simply enjoy the park before it’s filled with thousands of people? There are few opportunities for the general public to get a sneak peek but I discovered one on our last trip!
Disneyland Resort Hotel guests have access to exclusive perks like special activities including a power walk through Disney California Adventure before it opens.The power walk is a brisk 2 mile route around Disney California adventure and takes about 30 minutes. Our tour guide was great and offered fun facts about the park including the fact they’ve been offering the tour for 10 years now. How is the first time I’ve heard about it??
No cameras are allowed on the walk but the Disney Parks Blog does have a quick video that gives you a glimpse of the experience!
Tour through Disney California Adventure Before It Opens!
Check with your hotel when you check in for a schedule of activities. Some days they offer power walk through Downtown Disney or fitness class at the Grand Californian instead.
Don’t forget a Run Disney Event is also a great way to see a Disney Park before it opens, although it’s usually with 1000’s of other runners too.
