I’m Headed To The Christopher Robin Premiere

This post is part of my unpaid press trip with Disney for the #ChristopherRobinEvent.

This weekend I am headed back to LA for another Disney press event, the red carpet premiere and press junket for Christopher Robin! Winnie the Pooh holds a special place in my heart and I’ll share more on that later. First, let’s talk about what Disney has planned for our trip.

Christopher Robin Premiere

Christopher Robin stars Ewan McGregor as Christopher Robin (hello Obi-Wan Kenobi), Hayley Atwell as Evelyn Robin, and Bronte Carmichael as Madeline Robin. We are scheduled to interview all three actors, plus Director Marc Forster and the voice of Winnie the Pooh & Tigger, Jim Cummings during the Christopher Robin press junket. Then we will walk the red carpet, attend a premier-party and then watch the premiere of Christopher Robin!

This extended sneak peek just released today and is so sweet. It’s fun and nostalgic and Disney. Can it get any better than that?! I can’t wait to see the entire movie at the premiere.

So why is Winnie the Pooh extra special to me? Quinnie is one of Quinn’s nicknames and I used to sing ‘Quinnie the Pooh’ when I rocked him to sleep. Basically making up lyrics to the tune of Winnie the Pooh. When Elliot came along, we modified it and I sang “Quinnie the Pooh and Elliot too.” It’s our sweet little tradition.

We even dressed Quinn up as a pot of honey for his first Halloween, he was only a month old and it was the ‘sweetest’ thing. 😉 I love making DIY shirts for our Disney trips and our Quinnie the Pooh and Elliot too shirts are two of my all-time favorites! I think I need to remake these shirts so they can wear them when we see the movie together next month.

Christopher Robin opens in theaters on August 3rd!

Disney always packs in a few more experiences, in addition to the Christopher Robin fun, we will spend one morning learning more about Ralph Breaks the Internet, the sequel to Wreck-it Ralph.

Wreck- it Ralph is such a fun film, I can’t wait to see the sequel. The preview for it ridiculously funny. I giggle every time at the silly internet jokes. Hopefully, the movie is chock full of them!

Madame Tussauds Hollywood Marvel Exhibit

Plus we will be learning more about the in-home release of Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR from Executive Producer, Trinh Tran. Our interview will be held at Madame Tussauds Hollywood so we can see the Marvel exhibit as well. There’s a rumor we will be crafting our own Infinity Gauntlet. Don’t worry I will use mine to reverse Thanos’ gut-wrenching result. 😉
