Disney’s The BFG is a visually stunning movie. Steven Spielberg did an amazing job bringing Giant Country and the Big Friendly Giant to life. One of my favorite parts of the movie is when the BFG shows Sophie how he catches dreams. My BFG cupcakes are inspired by the dreams sparkly colors and of course the dream labels placed on each jar!
Why would you need BFG cupcakes? To celebrate the amazing movie and book, of course. I bet we will see some fun BFG party ideas popping up soon!
How To Make BFG Cupcakes
Big Friendly Giant cupcakes are fairly easy to make, all you need are sparkly sprinkles and BFG cupcake toppers. No need to reinvent the wheel, I’m sharing my BFG Dream inspired cupcake toppers below.

- White Frosting

I created a set of BFG cupcake toppers inspired by the Big Friendly Giant’s dream jars labels. Naturally, I included ones directly from the story like Sophie’s Dream, Golden Phizzwizzard and the President calling. I brainstormed a few more dream ideas and then included a few black labels so you can customize your BFG cupcake toppers too. Simply download the file below, print & cut out the BFG dream labels, and then tape each one to a toothpick.

Then simply frost your cupcakes, generously cover with sparkly sprinkles and add your BFG dream label cupcake topper. Done! I think these cupcakes would be great for a BFG party or even just a literacy themed party!
