Tomorrow Disney Planes is released on Blue-Ray and DVD, so I thought today would be a perfect day for a Disney Planes costume roundup! I was very surprised by how well my Dusty Plane and El Chupacabra costumes turned out and was happy to share how easy they were to make with you. I was seriously THRILLED when I found out some of you were inspired to make your own Planes costumes.

Disney Planes Costume Ideas

First up is a sweet little Dusty that we saw at the Disney Store Halloween Dress Rehearsal. We had several Disney costumes available including our own Dusty and El Chupacabra costumes but of course my boys went as Batman and Robin. Silly kids. This Dusty TOTALLY made my day when I saw it! 🙂

Turtle Crafty Girl also made the Dusty costume. It’s always nice when another blogger is inspired by your creation.

I love how this Dusty costume is a little different – the dad went big using IKEA boxes and it turned out super fun! AND? His photos are AMAZING!

And how adorable is the little sister as Dusty using a Dusty trick-or-treat bucket from Target? Seriously genius! 🙂

This awesome family took my airplane family costume theme even further with mom and dad as Jolly Wrenches air traffic control team and a Ripslinger costume too! They totally ROCK!

Looking for the tutorial to make your own Disney Planes costumes? Check out my original posts below. The costume turned out so well and was easy to make too that I couldn’t help sharing my diy Dusty costume with everyone!

Planes-Dusty-Costume1Elliot made a great El Chupacabra. I did tweak the airplane costume design a bit the 2nd time around, an engineering improvement. 😉

Hi. That is a costume submitted by a reader, I imagine some with a vinyl cutter might be able to help you.
