Our elf, Honey Pickle doesn’t get too elaborate with messy antics and surprises every morning. Every once in awhile, he does kick it up a notch and reenacts a Disney ride or wear a costume. Typically he just moves from one silly place to another. He does bring gifts on a few special mornings. Check out these elf gift ideas for an easy way to amp up the elf fun at your house.

We keep the elf antics simple but he does bring gifts every once in awhile. Check out these elf gift ideas to amp up the fun.

1. Our elf brings an advent calendar

Our elf, Honey Pickle always comes back on December 1st and brings a fun advent calendar to kick off the holidays. The LEGO advent calendars are always favorites around here but I’m thinking he might bring a Tsum Tsum advent calendar next year.  Even if you elf arrives earlier (like the day after Thanksgiving), he could always bring this fun gift on December 1st.

2. Our elf brings a special box of cereal

Quinn and Elliot love it when Honey Pickle brings a festive box of extra sweet cereal.

3. Our elf makes a fun breakfast

He also made them  Olaf Donuts one year. There is just nothing like way too much sugar to start off the morning right. 😉

4. Our elf brings new books

Our elf always brings new books at least once during December. Usually, they are fun new Christmas books like the Ninjabread Man. He also brings books that feature characters named Quinn and Elliot. These extra special books are always well received and the boys look forward to new “Honey Pickle books” each year.

5. Our elf brings new ornaments

Sometimes Honey Pickle brings a fun new ornament for our tree. Usually, one for each boy themed around something they love. I love getting special new Christmas ornaments for our tree!

Does your elf bring gifts?

I suggest downloading this free Santa stationary to use for any notes you want your elf to bring. If you are looking for a more elaborate Santa gift, how about a puppy? Last year our elf delivered a special letter from Santa about the new dog he picked out for us from a shelter. It was a much easier way for Santa to give us a dog. The logistics of hiding a dog on Christmas Eve is a little ridiculous. 😉
