The boys always want to include something extra with their valentines and while candy can be easy, I really try hard to encourage other ideas. In fact, I usually pick up a few options after Valentine’s Day to save for the next year. It helps keep the costs down. This year, Elliot dug into my stash of random trinkets and found bouncy balls.

Cute Pokemon Valentines Cards idea with bouncy ball

Pokemon Valentines Cards Printable

There are plenty of bouncy ball valentines ideas out there, with free printables available. It would have been easy to just pick one to print and be done except that Elliot wanted Pokemon valentines too. I think I found a great option for Pokemon Poke Ball Valentines using cute Pokemon bag toppers and luckily Elliot agreed!

Make your own DIY Pokemon Poke Ball Valentines with a few supplies

Pokemon Poke Ball Valentines Supplies

  • Bouncy Balls
  • Treat Bags
  • Cardstockr

Simply buy the Pokemon bag topper valentines on Etsy and then print them on cardstock. Add a ball to each treat bag and staple the bag topper over the bag opening. Done.

These would be a fun party favor for a Valentine’s Day party too

If your kiddo isn’t stuck on Pokemon valentines or you don’t want to spend a few bucks on the Etsy printable, check out this round-up of free bouncy ball valentines printables. There are lots of cute free options below.
