I bet no one is surprised we are making Star Wars Valentines Cards again this year! I love making custom ones for my boys and then sharing my design with you. Based on how many people are checking out our BB-8 Valentines Cards and Dark Side Valentines Cards, I know free printable Star Wars Valentines Cards are fairly popular right now. I hope you like this new design too!
DIY Star Wars Valentines
- White cardstock
- Star Wars Valentines card file
- Star Wars treats: lollipops, pencils, etc. (optional)
- Tape (optional)
If you are concerned about the cost of printing in color, check out HP instant ink. It’s inexpensive and I love knowing I always have ink for fun crafts or last-minute school projects.
This year’s Star Wars Valentines Cards are inspired by Star Wars lollipops I found at Target. They are simply red, green and blue suckers shaped like Stormtrooper heads. Each bag came with 24 suckers, so I knew 3 bags would easily cover both of my son’s classes.
Instead of just using one our other Star Wars Valentines Card designs, we decided to make a stormtrooper valentines card to match the lollipops they are attaching. Because it’s Valentines Day, these stormtroopers are encouraging you to ‘come to heart side’ instead of the dark side!
I went ahead and added my sons’ names at the bottom of the card using Star Jedi font. You could do the same if you want to upload the design to an online graphics tool like Canva or Picmonkey. Or keep it simple and have your child sign their name on the bottom of each card.
Click here to download the printable Join the Heart Side Star Wars Valentines Card. I printed 6 to a page on white cardstock. You could probably get away with printing 8 to a page if you want to make them a little smaller.
If you want to add something extra, then tape a fun Star Wars themed treat to the back of each card like we did.
