We spent Friday afternoon at the Pima County Fair. Naturally the boys had a blast. From motorcycles and dragons to slides and roller coasters, the rides in Kiddie Land covered all the bases!
The boys did Survival Island several times. It’s nice seeing them crawl, slide and climb around having fun! Last year Elliot could barely make it through – this year he rocked it!
The Goliath slide is my favorite – I could ride it over and over again. 🙂
Besides rides, the fair also had a fun new area in Pima Hall (right next to the Kiddie Land Carnival) – Kiddie Kingdom. It’s perfect for a mom and dad break, we could sit inside and watch the kids run around pretending to be knights and slay dragons. Thankful they didn’t try to slay the unicorn…
There were plenty of animal encounters at the fair too. Including seeing a bearded dragon in the Creepy, Crawly, Slimy exhibit – he must be Billy’s cousin. Naturally the petting zoo was also a hit. We even caught part of a dog agility show – the boys loved seeing the puppies, I am pretty sure they are ready for another dog.
Last year we spent friday afternoon at the fair and went on a Friday again this year – I stand by my view that it’s the best time to go! The Pima County Fair runs through April 28th and there are still a few discount days left! Also the Pima County Fair and RCS Fun are still running giveaways on their facebook pages!
Have you been out to the Pima County Fair yet?
