Are you ready to celebrate the holidays with silly Trolls cookies? These cookies are ugly Christmas sweater cookies inspired by the Trolls!
This post was sponsored by the Trolls Holiday movie available at Walmart.
From buying my kids a new ornament each year and driving around to look at Christmas lights to decorating cookies and watching holiday movies, we have plenty of favorite holiday traditions this time of year.
We kicked off the holiday movie watching the season with the Grinch followed by the new Trolls Holiday movie on NBC. It was a fun way to end Black Friday after putting up our Christmas tree and doing a little shopping. If you didn’t catch it or have kids dying to watch the Trolls Holiday movie again, don’t fret, you can now buy your own copy!
Trolls Holiday Movie
The new Trolls Holiday movie is available exclusively at Walmart starting 11/28. The Trolls Holiday movie is about Poppy helping the Bergens find a new holiday to celebrate. Everyone will be laughing or cringing at Poppy’s crazy holiday ideas. And for all of the Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick fans out there, you should know the whole cast is back with a new original song, plus a sweet cover of Madonna’s Holiday!
Before we settled down to watch the Trolls Holiday movie, we decided to make some crazy trolls holiday cookies, similar to my ugly Christmas sweater cookies. It ended up being the perfect choice because there was some crazy trolls holiday sweater action in the movie!
Trolls Holiday Cookies
We utilized some pink and blue frosting and sprinkles, in addition to some traditional holiday sprinkle options and came up with a few crazy looking Trolls Holiday cookies. I also printed up an image from the Trolls Holiday Movie I found online to serve as inspiration.
Let your kids make the cookies before you watch the movie or after. Either way, it’s a fun activity and delicious holiday movie treat. Be prepared for it to get a little messy!
