Growing up I loved shopping for new clothes before school started. I’d drag my parents from store to store, scouring for the best deals on the latest trends. My sons don’t share my same passion for back to school shopping and they don’t think shopping is fun unless we are looking at toys, stuffed animals or video games. Unfortunately for them, we don’t need any of those things for the first day of school.
I spared them by doing our shopping online, so I didn’t have to drag them (kicking and screaming) to the mall. I expertly, like a mom, picked out comfy fashions that I knew they would like. You’ll find a variety of back-to-school fashion at great prices on JCPenney.com. I shopped from the comfort of home and scoured the site and found some amazing clothing deals. I ended up ordering 5 shirts, 4 pairs of shorts, and new underwear for about $100.
The boys weren’t completely off the hook though. I asked them to do a quick back to school fashion shoot so I could share some of the fun clothes I bought with you. Things got a little silly after awhile but that’s ok with me. It kept the idea of trying on back to school clothes fun for them too.
Back to School Fashion Trends
What do elementary school boys dig? They love kid’s activewear in their favorite colors. Perfect for staying comfortable in P.E. and recess. We added a little fun to their wardrobe by mixing athletic wear with fun graphic tees. Seriously, how cool is this K-2SO shirt? I’m pretty sure I need to find the same thing in adult sizes for me and my husband!
Other Back to School fashion trends for 2017 include Camo/Military, Deconstructed Denim, White Sneakers and 90’s Retro like oversized plaid flannels. It’s always funny to see fashion trends come back in style and you can’t beat affordable prices at JCPenney. They offer a wide variety of clothing brands, home products, and beauty merchandise. You can’t beat a one stop shop!

You found some really fun matching outfits for your boys. Back to school shopping is so tough at this age. We have either amazing experiences or miserable she doesn’t want to be there at all experiences. Luckily this year we shopped at JCPenney too and it was awesome!
