Peter recently gave up soda, I know, I know, blasphemy. 😉 He used to be an avid coffee drinker while working early mornings at Costco or while studying in college. I’ve never been a coffee drinker and eventually converted him to my Diet Coke with breakfast plan. Recently he gave up soda and returned to coffee as his morning caffeine source. He borrowed a spare coffee maker from his parents temporarily but I have it on good authority he’ll be receiving a cool, new Keurig for Christmas. 😉 I figured a iced coffee gift basket would make a perfect accompanying gift for him.
I started with McCafé pods and ground coffee. I added reusable pods so he can use the premium ground coffee in his Keurig too. I also picked up a bottle of sugar-free vanilla coffee syrup so he can make fancy sweet iced coffee drinks too. 😉
Apparently the trick when making iced coffee is to use ice cubes made of coffee, so when the ice melts it doesn’t water down your iced coffee creation. We don’t actually own any ice trays anymore because we rely on our fridge to make ice for us. So an ice-cube tray was another great addition to his gift basket!
These coffee gift basket ideas would be great as stocking stuffers too – I might let our elf Honey Pickle know…

What a fabulous gift to help get your husband going in the morning! I definitely need that extra pep to help start my day. I never knew that iced coffee used ice cubes made of coffee, but that makes perfect sense. I definitely need to check out some of these McCafé flavors, seems like a fun way to change up a morning routine! #client
