You don’t have to be a genius in the kitchen to create amazing donut designs. Just buy a dozen and let the kiddos decorate and create fun designs, it’s an activity and a treat all in one! The first Friday in June is National Donut Day. And while visiting a fun donut shop is always a good way to celebrate, it might extra busy. A fun alternative is make your own donuts.

Yes, you can make your own donuts at home by frying them, baking them or even in throwing some in your air fryer. You might need a donut pan if that’s the case.

But if that is more work then you want to do then why not just decorate your own donuts. Decorating store bought donuts is a fun activity that lets you and your kids get creative and then enjoy a yummy treat.
