For this Halloween, my family decided on a super hero theme. I think it’s a great theme because we left it open ended, from DC to Marvel to Disney to made up super heroes (and villains) the sky is the limit! With a dozen participants you need to have enough character options.
My boys narrowed it down to Batman and Robin. Peter and I thought we could dress up as Superman and Wonder Woman but then we decided to with big and little Batman/Robin pairs. We need to milk all the cute family costume chances we get before the boys get too old to play along!
As if I’ll ever let them… 😉
Easy Batman and Robin Costume for Kids (and Families)
Technically Halloween is still over 2 months away but we have several Halloween events to attend. The first one is Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland in September so I really need to get moving on our costumes. Extra comfy costumes are essential when cavorting around Disneyland so that is my primary focus. Last year we did pretty good with our Neverland family at Disneyland except that Captain Hook revolted in the heat and ditched most of his overly warm costume in favor of only his hat and hook. This year I plan to be better prepared!
My general plan is pictured above and it would be easy to buy all of it online from home (with my affiliate Amazon link). I plan on doing some DIY versions and locally sourcing most of the costume but you get the general idea!
And here’s how we turned out… Holy Halloween Batman!
