I had so much fun brainstorming Disney bounding ideas for my boys. As big as we are on costumes around here, they’ve never worn a costume into a Disney park except to Mickey’s Halloween Party or the Oogie Boogie Bash.

Maybe it’s because you’re more likely to see little girls wearing Princess dresses in the parks. An easy alternative to wearing a costume is disneybound instead.

Disneybounding is when you dress up like your favorite Disney characters using normal clothes. I came up with a few ideas for our recent trip to Walt Disney World, check out these fun Disneybounding ideas for kids.

Easy Disney bounding Ideas

The best part about Disneybounding is that you get to be creative while wearing regular clothes. Start by brainstorming characters you’d like to be and then go through clothes you already own. What can you easily make work with your existing wardrobe?

Then pick up an extra piece of clothing or fun accessory to finish off the look.  I splurged on a green fedora for the Goofy look. My youngest son loves wearing hats so it made sense. Goofy ended up autographing his hat during a character encounter. It’s Elliot’s favorite hat now!

An easy way to pack in more fun on a Disney trip is by disneybounding. Check my adorable disneybounding ideas for kids, my boys had a lot of fun with it.

Princess Disney bounding Ideas

Well I only have little princes at home, so there is limited princess ideas here but I do like to explore prince costumes. Or in this case prince disneybounding ideas,

Elliot’s Beast look is part Disneybounding and part DIY Disney shirt. Layering a blue jacket with a white shirt would work but it’s usually too hot for that. Although if it was cooler we could go full-on Beast costume if we went that route.

I compromised by creating a Beast inspired tuxedo shirt and paired it with black shorts. It turned out adorable. Use my tutorial and create your own adorable beast shirt for a prince disneybounding idea.
