It’s May the 4th and since we are heading to Walt Disney World in a few days I figured it was the perfect time to make a new DIY Star Wars shirt. With everyone eagerly awaiting the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens later this year, I wanted to come up with a fun new design. I think the new droid, BB-8 is adorable and figured he’d be perfect on a new shirt.
With the help of my awesome brother, I made a DIY BB-8 shirt using an iron on transfer and the BB-8 decal we created.
DIY BB-8 Shirt
- Solid Color Shirt
- Iron On Transfer Paper

- Iron
My biggest tip is to follow the iron on transfer paper directions, they do vary depending upon what you buy. I didn’t customize the shirt I made but you could easily add a name in the right ear using PicMonkey or Photoshop.
What do you think of our BB-8 shirt?
