It’s finally May 1st and Avengers: Age of Ultron is now in theaters for everyone to see. I took Peter to a sneak earlier this week because he couldn’t wait to see it and I HAD to see it again!! And I totally want see it again this weekend, it’s such a fun movie. I’m sharing 5 reasons why I loved Avengers: Age of Ultron and why there’s a little bit of fun for everyone! Don’t worry there are no spoilers in my review!
1. Romance
Yes it’s a superhero movie but there is a little romance in the movie. I don’t want to give any more details but I thought it was unexpected and really rather sweet. So guys if your girl prefers love stories, let her know there is a little side romance in the movie and I bet you can get her to go.
2. Cool New Characters
The 4 new characters in the film are really cool. Marvel Comic fans will already be somewhat familiar with them, although their story may be a little different in the movie. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are twins with special powers who connect with Ultron early in the movie due to a common enemy. Vision is also introduced in the movie and he will have a very familiar voice to fans of the Ironman movies!
3. Hulkbuster
The Hulkbuster, affectionately called Veronica in the film is a really awesome addition to the Avengers movie. The action and special effects involved are really amazing.
4. Lots of Comedy
There is humor throughout the film, from the opening scene to the very end. I laughed at LEAST every 5 minutes in the movie. And who doesn’t want to laugh when they see a movie.
5. Plenty of Superhero Action
Of course this is a superhero movie, so don’t worry despite the comedy and romance, there is PLENTY of awesome action sequences in the movie. The movie opens immediately with an action packed scene that connects you to what the Avengers have been doing since the collapse of S.H.I.E.L.D. Check out the trailer below to see a snippet of the superhero action.
The movie is rated PG-13 and I think if you are comfortable with your children watching the original Avengers movie, Thor: The Dark World or Captain America: The Winter Solider, you would be fine with this movie. While I don’t think the movie is good for younger kids like my own (5 & 7), these Avengers: Age of Ultron coloring pages are perfect for little Avenger fans!
