I am so excited to be sharing these simple Lorax oranges today. This is both a craft and snack idea perfect for a Lorax movie watching party, Dr. Seuss Birthday Party or Earth day celebration

Lorax Craft and snack idea - perfect for Lorax, Seuss, and Earth Day partiies!
Pin this simple Dr. Seuss Craft perfect for Read Across America or even Earth Day!

How To Make Lorax Oranges

Just grab your favorite clementine, like Halos or Cuties, and glue googly eyes and a yellow Lorax mustache. Lorax oranges are super easy to make and then you have a healthy Lorax snack to eat later.

Lorax Craft Supplies
Lorax orange supplies include clementines, googly eyes and yellow felt for the Lorax mustache

I had to draw the mustache a few times on paper to get the size and shape to work with the little oranges. Then I used the template to cut the Lorax mustaches from yellow felt.

It’s super easy once you have a template – so I’m sharing one below. 🙂 I used a hot glue gun but regular glue would work better for little kids.

This is such a smart idea. Every kid loves clementines… and dressing them up like little Loraxes? So smart!

I love love love this idea! I tried putting one together, but I couldn’t get the glue to stick to the oranges. Any ideas what I need to do differently?

Thank you so much for the darling idea!

Did you try a hot glue gun? Glue dots might also be a good option if you don’t want to use a glue gun.
