I’m so excited to be headed to San Francisco this weekend for another Disney press trip. This time around it’s all about Star Wars with a side of Mickey Mouse and Pinocchio. I feel like lightning has struck twice for me because I will be headed back to Skywalker ranch during this trip! We are also visiting LucasFilm Headquarters and the Walt Disney Family Museum, talk about an amazing trifecta!

I can’t believe I get to visit Skywalker Ranch AGAIN. Almost 2 years ago I had the opportunity to spend the day there during another Disney press trip. We screened Strange Magic with George Lucas and interviewed him before taking a tour of Skywalker Ranch. It was a strange, magical experience. (see what I did there) 😉
I am headed back to Skywalker Ranch TODAY to screen footage of Rogue One and attend the press reception. I can’t wait to share my experience at Skywalker Ranch with you AGAIN!
On Sunday we will head over to LucasFilm Headquarters for our Rogue One interviews. While the schedule can change, currently we are scheduled to interview Diego Luna (“Cassian”), Riz Ahmed (“Bodhi”), Director Gareth Edwards, Felicity Jones (“Jyn”), Ben Mendelsohn (“Krennic”), Donnie Yen (“Chirrut”), Alan Tudyk (“K2SO”) and Mads Mikkelsen (“Galen”). If you have any questions, let me know and I’ll be sure to ask them for you!
Keeping in the theme of Star Wars, we will also screen 2 episodes from Season 3 of Star Wars Rebels. Rumor has it they may have a Rogue One tie in! We are big fans of Star Wars Rebels over here and my first Disney Press trip actually included the premier of Star Wars Rebels! How cool is that? We interviewed Executive Producer Dave Filoni on that trip and we will get to do it again on this trip! Sweet! Do you have any Star Wars Rebels questions for Dave?
I am also excited to tour LucasFilm Headquarters and see the famous Yoda statue! The statue is open to the public, and we briefly discussed seeing it with our Muir Woods tour guide while in San Francisco for fall break. Have you ever paid Yoda a visit?
While our trip is heavy on the Star Wars fun, we do have a dose of classic Disney scheduled as well. We will be visiting the Disney Family Museum on Walt’s actual birthday. While there we will be learning about the release of Pinocchio on Blu-ray on Digital HD 1/10/17 and Blu-ray on 1/31/17.
Plus we will screen an all new Disney Junior show, Mickey and the Roadster Racers which premieres on January 15, 2017.
It’s gonna be another whirlwind trip with lots of fun jammed packed in! Follow along using the press event hashtags:

Don’t forget Rogue One arrives in theaters on December 16th!!
Disclosure: Disney is hosting me in San Francisco in order to attend media events and participate in group interviews. As always, all opinions, experiences, and my love of Star Wars and Disney are my own!
