I remember my brother winning a Halloween costume contest when we were kids. He was a dressed as a pirate and my mom used vaseline and coffee grounds to create the coolest fake beard. So to me, a pirate is a pretty cool, classic Halloween costume. In fact, one of my favorite Halloween costume themes was the year everyone dressed up as Peter Pan and the Neverland crew! Plus with the popularity of Jake and the Neverland Pirates for kids and Pirates of the Caribbean for teens and adults, pirates are never going out of style for Halloween.
