Thank you to Tyson Foods for sponsoring today’s Pumpkin Pie Toppings Bar.

How to make a DIY Pumpkin Pie Toppings Bar for Thanksgiving Dinner

Having a DIY toppings bar is all the rage for party food nowadays. While I’ve seen plenty of toppings bar ideas from hot cocoa and cupcakes to hot dogs and baked potatoes, I’ve yet to see a pumpkin pie toppings bar before. So, in honor of fall and Thanksgiving later this month, I am sharing my ideas for a sweet pumpkin pie toppings bar, perfect for all your fall festivities.

Pumpkin Pie Toppings Ideas

The most important part of your pumpkin pie toppings bar is having a wide variety of toppings to choose from. Everyone’s tastes buds are different so having 5-8 different options should appease just about anyone.

Pumpkin Pie Toppings Bar Whipped Cream and Caramel Sauce

The most obvious topping for pumpkin pie lovers is whipped cream. Whether you go with a homemade whipped cream or opt for a can from the grocery store, you definitely want whipped cream on the table! I’ve also seen pumpkin caramel candy, so I think caramel sauce is another fun topping idea for pumpkin pie.

More pumpkin pie toppings bar ideas

Personally, I think chocolate makes just about everything better. I know my boys love pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, so mini chocolate chips were another must-have topping idea.

Pumpkin Pie Toppings Bar ideas include chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, coconut and chopped walnuts

Peter’s favorite kind of candy is white chocolate, so I also bought a bag of white chocolate chips. Chopped nuts (walnuts in our case) and coconut also seemed to pair well with pumpkin pie. Additional varieties of nuts, streusel, or even toffee bits could make good additions to a pumpkin pie toppings bar as well.

Let’s not forget about the star attraction, the pumpkin pie. I am all for fun ideas that are easy to pull off so I opted to buy a Sara Lee® Pumpkin Pie. Pumpkin Pie is perfect for all your special fall meals, with a traditional flavor your guests expect because they are made from rich, smooth pumpkin with a special blend of cinnamon and spices.

Using cute food labels is another way to make your pumpkin pie toppings bar more festive and decorative

Pumpkin Pie Toppings Food Tents

A totally optional but fun idea is to use food tents to label your toppings. I created a simple set of food tents for my pumpkin pie toppings bar. Design your own or download mine here. Don’t worry I included a blank one, so you can label any additional toppings that you want!

Pumpkin Pie toppings bar decorations can include real pumpkins, fall decorations or a fun printable sign.

Don’t forget to add a little fall decor and then you are done. You are ready to show off your sweet pumpkin pie toppings bar to your friends and family.

How to create your own pumpkin pie toppings bar for your fall festivities

Now let your guests go wild with the toppings! Will they eat their pie plain, traditional with a dollop of whipped cream or go crazy with lots of toppings?

Ready to serve an extra special fall dessert idea with minimal effort? Make a pumpkin pie toppings bar, everyone can eat pie their own way.

You can find lots of different Tyson® products at Albertsons Supermarkets. I found my Sara Lee® Pumpkin Pie at my local Albertsons, along with the rest of my pumpkin pie toppings. I love using Sara Lee® frozen desserts because they make celebrating with family and friends easier. With an easy dessert hack like a pumpkin pie topping bar, it’s simple to make dessert extra special with minimal effort.
