I know, I know. I already made a BB-8 Christmas wreath last year but I really wanted to make an easier version this year. When I found a set of Halloween ornaments on clearance, complete with orange and black bulbs, I decided it was destiny.  I had to make another Star Wars BB-8 Wreath.

I bought a few basics wreaths in different sizes at the dollar store. Last year I made the BB-8 shape from pool noodles, these premade wreaths were much easier. 🙂

Star Wars BB-8 Wreath Supplies

  • silver, black and orange ornaments
  • 1 small & 1 larger pre-made wreath
  • wide white ribbon
  • glue gun
  • white duct tape
  • silver ribbon

I started by wrapping the wreath bases in white ribbon, then I attached the smaller wreath to the larger one using white duct tape.

Then the fun happened. I hot glued the ornaments all over the top of the wreath. You may need to hold some of the bulbs in place briefly to let the glue set. And obviously, you need to be strategic with the orange and black bulbs. Add a silver ribbon at the top to hang it and you are done.

Do you bring a little of the force home with Star Wars themed holiday decorations?
