For over 20 years, Pixar Films has been making incredible animated movies. There’s been so many that there’s no shortage of Pixar costumes to make as well. And since we all know I love a good DIY costumes, check out this round up of Pixar costume ideas!
DIY Pixar Costumes
I still love their first feature film, Toy Story and am so excited to see the trilogy continue with Toy Story 4 in a couple of years! With all the amazing characters Pixar has created, it’s no wonder they inspire so many awesome Halloween costumes. Inside out is a super cute family Halloween costume idea and this Inside Out Anger costume idea is super simple to make for kids and adults.
A Buzz Lightyear Costume Shirt and Jessie Costume Shirt are great starts to easy Toy Story Costumes.
Planes or Cars Pixar Costumes
While the Disney Planes movies are not technically, they are connected/live in the Cars universe, so I am including them with the Pixar costumes.
In fact, I think I should take a page from my Planes costume book and make a Lightning McQueen or Mater costume especially since Cars 3 is scheduled to arrive in theaters next summer!
More Pixar Costume Ideas
I am on the hunt to include more Pixar costumes tutorials with you. I’d love to see some tutorials for Bruno or Maribel from Encanto, any of the Up characters. Plus lets not forget about Ratatouille, Wall-E, Coco, Luca or Onward.
I actually almost made Onward costumes but then the pandemic hit and I lost some steam. I did make a great Quest shirt for a Barley costume.
